Clean Skincare

Morning and night we chase youthful skin. Being in my thirties I want top notch skincare but after having cancer I really want clean skincare, and yes clean skincare works just as hard as any other and I seek out the best of the best. 

My one stop shop is Aillea

I’ve mentioned this half a million times on my stories but this store has it ALL and I fully trust the products they carry. They have a few store fronts but you can order everything online too! From shampoo to lip gloss and they also offer in house facials as well! 

Another cool site is Haldi

This is great when you aren’t sure where to even begin with skincare! They have you take a detailed quiz on your skin type, find out what products you already have, etc and create a routine for you for morning and night with products you already have mixed with new ones to try or just all new to start fresh. Then you can order directly from the site. This is not limited to just clean skincare, it’s ALL skincare and they carry all the brands! Currently this is only by referral so use Jenna Cole in the survey and you will be good to go!

Yeppp I said Myrtle

Ok last time I spent time in Myrtle Beach was my senior beach week. That experience, although the best of memories, was a waaaaay different experience then the Myrtle we recently rediscovered so many years later with kids! This is a quick getaway for us. We were going stir crazy in the house after Christmas soo it was time to venture out. If you know us, you know we are not the best planners and extremely spontaneous. Soo this trip was planned in all of 5 mins and of those 5 mins we spent another 10 of them packing and peacing out in the car. Byeeeeee

So I never originally thought I’d share my travel but given that we are always on the go, I figured whyyyy not, I’ll bring you along! I love reading and researching where to visit, what to eat, places to shop, best hotels, so here we go with our faves & stick around for adventures to come!

Let's overnight in Charleston

This is a short post but a solid one. These are all highly recommended hotels by yours truly & loved for many different reasons. One thing I look for when we stay somewhere is if they have bikes. No matter the weather, Nick and I take the bikes and cruise around. It's the best way to see the town, to see all the fun little nooks and areas you would never be able to come across by foot. Wellllll unless you're a marathon runner. ehhmmm my sister, I picture you zippity do dahhing all over this town. Me? I need a bike. 

Hotels I have stayed in

Restoration Hotel : This one is rustic, wood beams and exposed brick walls. Nick and I wanted to move in. Modern meets Colorado city vibes if that makes any sense. They have larger rooms/suites for groups or great for girls/couples trips. Great customer service. A heated pool for the cold weather days and normal pool for the hot. Rooftop bar and restaurant. Cool coffee shop and boutique. A spa. Bikes and a golf cart to take you where you need to go! They have it all!

 

The Omni Homestead Resort

Dreamiest trip to the mountains & this resort holds so many memories of mine growing up. Welcome to The Omni Homestead Resort. My family would go every other Summer and I truly have the fondest memories growing up going to this gem. To be able to to bring my family was such a weird feeling because it felt like yesterday I was a kid walking the halls and now my littles are soaking up it's greatness with me! To see their faces when we arrived to this beautiful place was honestly beyond words.

Charleston with Kiddos

    

Traveling with kiddos is a different ball game, especially when it comes to Charleston. Normally Nick and I treat Charleston as our holy grail of parent getaways. We booze and eat our way through the town. Our regular diets out the window, we just go hard and it's fantastic. With kiddos, we're like OK what do we do in this town? Here is our adventure!

Ok our FAVE food/cocktail spots! Sooo I wasn’t prepared to share food porn or I would have captured some serious foodie pics but you’ll get the gist and I’ll take a bunch next go round! This was from our last stay plus a few I've heard are musts to try!

Good Morning drinks/Breakfast

I have to say disclaimer we have never actually Brunched downtown. We are either peacing out early on Sunday and doing a quick grab n go from Caviar & Bananas, The Daily, or The Rise or we travel during the week. Living that restaurant owning life gives us weird times to travel. We do however have our faaaaave Morning spots!

Miller’s All Day. And by all day they mean all week bc I'm going every morning. I’m also gaining 10 pounds from the amount of biscuits I can take down. Also cutestttt place inside. 

Just to mention.. if you are going for bloodys, SC can’t serve until 10am! I get a fritata with this amazing whipped feta on top and their famous homemade biscuit on the side.
