Beware, tons of pictures!

The Cole circus, 4 adults and 4 kids, took to the skies and flew into San Juan. First flight since covid and it went really well. Due to Covid, as of right now you need a 72 hour covid test to visit Puerto Rico even it being US territory. Ask me more about this if you need details!
We rented a massive van from the airport and drove about 2 hours to our place in Isabella.
We stayed in Shacks Beach which is right in Isabella and rented a three bedroom condo right on the beach. Double french doors to this large balcony with the perfect surf views. The best part is that it's not built up there, only a few homes and a lot of beach with hardly any people. Like you rented the most beautiful part of the world for yourself.
Our first day we woke up, cooked breakfast while the boys surfed, and just had a slow morning.
We walked the beach, played in the water, cocktailed it up, and walked to lunch from our place. Pure island time.
Walked to Ola Lolas for lunch! Cutest outdoor spot.
Spotted the iguanas!
Later that day we drove to Jobos which is right in Isabella to stop by WRV and see the beautiful beach there. Clear water and water crashing over massive rock sides. You can hike up them for the most spectacular views.
Foodie side near our place to walk to:
Villa Montana Beach Resort is stunning and just a short beach walk away, legit like 3 mins. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the most stunning outdoor decor and dining.
As I mentioned, Ola Lolas is a Lunch and dinner spot and we actually did have both here. The most delicious fresh cocktails and food!
Our second day we ventured to Wilderness after the guys surfed, which is about a 10 min drive from Isabella in Aguadilla. We snagged a coffee at Levain and they say the chocolate croissants are amazeeee, sold out when we got there of course. Then we made the short trek over to this wild muddy bumpy back roads wild ride to the most stunning surf and old ruins spot.
We then headed to the best foodie truck spot on our way to Crash Beach.
A MUST stop!
Crash Beach was a beautiful drive (every drive is super curvy so be prepared!) but the views and destinations are so worth it! Every beach is so different! This was a cool beach because they have little spots for food, AWMZING pina coladas - make sure and get one! And fun spots for jumping in the water and just a great beach area for the kids to play. Some beaches I will say aren’t the best for kids to play in the water, but this was perfect and everyone had fun.
That night we had dinner at the beautiful resort Villa Montana where the kids played in the sand and we sat in the most beautifully decorated outdoor space.
Walking to dinner
Our last day. We started the morning at Villa Montana for breakfast because our kids ate us out of house and home after night 1 and the grocery store ehhh vaca.. So the guys surfed and my SIL and I took the kiddos for some coffee and breakfast!
We then ventured to Jobos to let the kids play in waves. This is also a great spot for the kids to really play in the water. The kids LOVED this spot. We rented surf boards for them and they jumped right in the clear water to play and hit the waves! Also a great place to eat and grab drinks on water here is Umas!
Ok so this whole trip I held down getting car sick butttt leaving Jobos we decided to venture to Rincon. Those damn mountain curvy roads whewww finally got the best of me butttt we stopped at a stunning views lunch spot in Rincon called Beach House which cured me.
Hayes loving his guac!
We then headed to the lighthouse to watch the surfing. What’s cool is there is a pathway to walk down to the beach where all the surfing is. The kids can’t play in the water there because of the coral but they have such fun shells and it’s fun to watch. I will say, I’ve heard there is more to see in Rincon and so many love it there but we did the beach thing and we were wiped out so jumped back in the van to head back to Isabella.
We wanted time to just go watch the sunset and hang at our place to unwind and soak in the last night. So we grabbed pizza and hung out at the house! We know there is so so much to explore still and see but that’s for next time! Comment below on recommendations!!
